Using Red/Green LED Strips on the Gate Arm

Customers often ask whether they can install a red/green LED strip on the gate arm—for example, red when the gate is closed and green when it is open—while still using the flashing warning light.

Compatibility Information

It is possible to equip the gate arm with red and green LEDs to visually indicate the gate’s status.
However, due to the way the lighting outputs are managed on the control board, this configuration cannot be used simultaneously with the flashing light option.

When to Use Red/Green LEDs

This option is ideal when:

  • You want clear visibility for drivers about gate status.

  • The environment does not require or mandate a flashing warning beacon.
