Parklio Gate - Automatic Closure Attempts After Obstacle Detection - Setting 49
If the Parklio Gate photocell does not detect an object underneath the gate arm, and an object appears below the arm while it is in the raised position, the arm may lower and hit the object. The gate is programmed so that, in this situation, it will attempt to lower and hit the object up to three times in a row. After the third attempt, the arm will remain in the raised position to prevent further impact.
This is one of the factory settings, specifically known as Setting 49.
Afterwards, in order to restore normal gate operation, it is necessary to manually unlock the gate using the key and pull the arm down.
