Before proceeding with the physical installation of the chain system, it is essential to prepare the power supply connections.
The primary connection involves supplying power to the master unit. Use a 230V-50Hz power source (or 110V-60Hz for installations in regions using the US power grid).
Connection terminals are clearly labeled on the diagram:
F – Phase
N – Neutral
Ground – Marked with the standard ground symbol
The slave unit contains only the motor and operates in sync with the motor in the master unit. To enable this simultaneous operation, you must connect the terminals marked + and - for Motor 2 on the master unit to the corresponding + and - terminals on Motor 2 in the slave unit.
Refer to the provided diagram for the exact position of the Motor 2 connections in the master unit.
The cross-section of the cables used for connecting Motor 2 depends on the distance between the master and slave units:
Up to 5 meters: Use cables with a minimum cross-section of 1.5 mm²
From 5 to 18 meters: Use cables with a minimum of 2.5 mm²
For long distances (18–20 meters): Use cables with a cross-section of at least 5 mm²
Recommendation: For optimal performance and simplified installation, we recommend using 2.5 mm² cables for all distances except for long-distance connections (above 18 meters), where 5 mm² cables should be used.
Ensure all cables are suitable for outdoor use and comply with local electrical codes and safety standards.
