Troubleshooting Guide: Understanding Parklio Barrier LED Indicator

Troubleshooting Guide: Understanding Parklio Barrier LED Indicator

The Parklio Barrier is designed to diagnose and display most errors autonomously. Located on the front side of the electronic box is a reset button with an integrated LED light.

  • Normal Operation: The LED light remains off when the barrier is functioning correctly.
  • Error Indicators: If the LED blinks green or stays continuously lit, this signals a malfunction or damage.

First Step in Diagnosing Issues

If the barrier is not operating as expected, check the LED light for error indications. A video demonstrating how to check for errors using the LED light is provided in the attachment. Clients should always send a video like this to the support team for accurate diagnosis and potential warranty coverage.

LED Error Codes and Their Meanings:

The LED blinks in specific patterns, each corresponding to a different error:

  1. MAG: Indicates a problem with the magnetometer.
  2. ACC: Signals an issue with the accelerometer inside the motor tube.
  3. Laser: Identifies a fault with the laser inside the cover.
  4. Acc on EU: Detects a problem with the accelerometer in the electronic unit.
  5. Bus 0 Error: Requires the electronic box to be replaced.
  6. Bus 1 Error: Requires the electronic box to be replaced.

Important Note

This diagnostic process should always be the first step when troubleshooting a malfunctioning barrier. Sending an error video to support can streamline the identification and resolution of the problem, ensuring swift repairs under warranty, if applicable.
