First Troubleshooting Step for Any Battery-Powered Barrier Issue
For battery-powered Barriers, the battery may be supported by solar charging. However, solar charging is not capable of recovering a fully depleted battery; it can only reduce the rate of further discharge. If the battery is completely empty, it must be removed from the Barrier and charged using an external charger.
If the battery level falls below 20%, various issues may occur, which can manifest in different ways within the application. For this reason, the first step in troubleshooting any battery-powered Barrier should be to remove the battery, charge it fully to 100%, reinstall it in the Barrier, and verify whether the device is operating correctly.
