Plates not being detected

If plates are not recognized in PMS please follow next steps:

  1. Check if camera is online in the PMS and HIK web interface
  2. In HIK web interface got to: VCA/Road Traffic/Detection Configuration for Area Settings and Armin Schedule and Linkage Method and from here check the following:

  3. Type needs to be set to Vehicle detection

  4. Enable button must be checked

  5. Lanes need to be set correct as explained in UM

  6. Select mode need to be Entrance/Exit

  7. Detection mode set to Vehicle Priority

  8. In the Armin Schedule and Linkage Method disable all the Trigger Alarm Outputs like this:


  10. Save all settings
