LED is On all The Time - Older Version of the Barrier

If the LED light is constantly green, it likely indicates a hardware issue that is preventing the Barrier from functioning properly until resolved.

This is usually related to either the motor tube or the cover (which contains the solar panel, sensor, etc.).

First, check the cover:

  1. Open the cover and locate the electronic box.
  2. Disconnect the battery.
  3. Open the top of the electronic box.
  4. Remove the white connector (as marked in the picture).
  5. Reconnect the battery and check whether the reset button turns the device off.
  • If the reset button turns it off, the issue is in the cover.
  • If it does not, proceed to check the motor tube.

Disassemble the tube following the steps in this video:

1. When you open the tube you will see:

2. Reconnect the white connector that was previously disconnected (as shown in the picture). The easiest way to do this is by using tweezers or a similar tool to carefully guide the connector into place.
