Dry Contact Availability on the 1-5m Gate for Position Sensor Integration
For customers looking to integrate their own position sensor to open the 1-5m gate, it’s important to know that the system already includes a dedicated dry contact connection.
Dry Contact on the Control Board
The 1-5m gate features a dry contact labeled COR on the control board.
This contact is used internally by the Parklio Brain module, which handles core Gate operations and communication.
Providing an Additional Output for the Customer
If the customer needs access to a dry contact signal—while still keeping the Parklio Brain module connected—this is fully achievable.
To enable this, an additional relay can be installed.
This relay replicates the COR signal and makes it safely available for the customer’s external position sensor or control device, without interfering with the Parklio Brain module’s operation.
Benefits of This Approach
-
Ensures full compatibility with external position sensors
-
Maintains Parklio system functionality and communication
-
Provides a safe and reliable way to share the COR signal
-
Offers flexibility for custom automation or third-party integrations
If needed, our team can provide guidance on relay installation or integration best practices.
