Connecting to a Barrier for the First Time

Make sure the battery is fully charged before starting. Devices are shipped with the battery charged to approximately 20% due to transportation regulations and optimal cold-storage conditions. Once the battery is connected to the barrier, the LED should blink green.

Important note: In many cases, users carry the barrier by holding the motor tube, which can cause the accelerometer cable to disconnect. For faster troubleshooting, it is recommended to first check the motor tube and ensure that the cable is properly connected.

After confirming this, try scanning for the device using your mobile phone.

Before adding the Barrier, make sure that Bluetooth, Location, and Internet access are enabled on your phone, as the Barrier cannot be added without them.

If the Barrier still cannot be added:

  • Make sure the battery is fully charged.
  • Detach the battery from the device.
  • Wait for 2 minutes before reconnecting it.
  • Try adding the device again.
  • Make sure you have a working internet connection during the setup process.
