AXIS ANPR camera is offline

If the AXIS ANPR camera is appearing as offline, please follow these diagnostic steps to identify and resolve the issue:

  1. Inspect Physical Connectivity: Remove the camera dome and verify that the Ethernet cable is securely and correctly seated in the port.

  2. Verify PoE Activity: Confirm that there is active power and data transmission on the Power over Ethernet (PoE) connection (check the network switch port LEDs or PoE injector).

  3. Check Hardware Status: If the previous steps do not resolve the issue, press the control button on the camera. The status LED indicator should illuminate, signaling that the device is receiving power.

  4. Network Discovery: Attempt to locate the camera on the network using the AXIS IP Utility. You can access the utility via the following link:
