Auto-close feature

Auto-close feature

Auto-close mode for barriers operates in the following sequence:

  1. Barrier Lowers: Once the system is triggered, the barrier lowers to allow vehicle access.
  2. Car Parks: The vehicle parks, positioning itself over the sensor.
  3. Car Stays Over the Sensor for More Than 60 Seconds: The sensor requires the vehicle to remain stationary for a minimum of 60 seconds.
  4. Car Moves Away in a Continuous Motion: The vehicle must leave the area without interruptions or pauses.
  5. Barrier Auto-Closes: After the vehicle leaves, the barrier auto-closes within a specified interval, which is now set to 50-70 seconds by default. Note that this interval cannot be adjusted in the latest app update.

Important Notes:

  • If any of these conditions are not met, the barrier will not activate the auto-close feature.
  • Sometimes, the car might not be parked directly over the sensor, which can result in the sensor not being triggered.

Testing the Auto-Close Feature

You can test the auto-close feature without a car by placing an object, such as a cardboard box, in front of the sensor. This mimics the presence of a vehicle and allows you to observe the auto-close functionality.

For a detailed demonstration, check the video linked below to see how to test the auto-close mode successfully.
