Adding Devices to PMS - Gateway

Adding Devices to PMS - Gateway

To connect any Parklio device directly to the PMS, it is not necessary to add a Gateway, as the devices can connect to the app on their own. However, using a Gateway provides additional features and more possibilities when controlling Parklio Barrier, Chain, Gate, and Bollard devices through it.

Important! All devices are added through Parklio Connect mobile App

Please keep in mind that the Gateway must be installed before other products for the configuration to be successful. Use the instructions in the User Manual to ensure that Parklio Gateway is correctly installed and plugged in. Download the instructions by scanning the QR code:

To connect the Gateway to the selected lot, click the + Add Gateway button in the Parklio App. Initially, the list will be empty. Press the reset button on the Gateway briefly and then refresh the page in the app. The Gateway will appear and be available for adding for the next 60 seconds.

When you add the Gateway to PMS you will see in it "Parking Lot" tab like this:

You can also find the image of the Gateway visible in "Parking Lot" tab at the following link:

When Gateway is online you can add other devices to same parking lot where Gateway is installed and they will connect automatically. In rare cases when devices are not connected automatically you can lower and extend device over Connect App and it will connect to Gateway.
